The system includes a Windows desktop application, a web portal, APIs, background services and SQL Server databases. You will automate testing across the whole system, from UI and API tests to full end-to-end scenarios that run in CI, with support from experienced developers. Company: Silver Star Soft LLC Role: QA Automation Engineer Salary: from $1000 / month Format: Hybrid (on-site + remote) What you will do • Build and maintain a test automation framework for the platform • Automate UI tests for the desktop application and the web portal • Write API and integration tests for REST/WCF services and background services • Create end-to-end tests that cover full business flows: UI → services → database • Prepare test data and check results directly in SQL Server • Run automated tests in GitHub Actions on every pull request • Use AI tools to speed up writing, maintaining and debugging tests • Report bugs in Jira and work closely with developers to get them fixed Core Requirements • 1+ year of experience in test automation, or C# development with a strong interest in QA • Good knowledge of C# / .NET and a test framework (NUnit or xUnit) • API testing experience (Postman, HttpClient/RestSharp) • Basic SQL skills: SELECT, JOIN, inserting and checking test data • Understanding of testing theory: test cases, test levels, bug life cycle • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar) • Git basics • English B1+ for written communication and calls with the team • Availability for evening calls and meetings from 9 to 11 PM Tashkent time Nice to Have • Desktop UI automation (FlaUI, WinAppDriver or Appium) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions • Docker and isolated test environments • Knowledge of WCF, Windows services or RabbitMQ • Performance / load testing (k6, JMeter, NBomber) What we offer • Hybrid format: office + remote • Work in an international team across different time zones • A chance to build test automation from scratch and grow into a senior QA engineer • Mentoring from an experienced development team • Real-world engineering projects • Friendly team Send your resume to @DilshodMakhmudov @unilance - the best for you
